About the Product/Manufacturers
Pop-Tarts, one of America's favourite breakfast and snack time treats, are pre-baked pastries loaded with flavourful fillings and usually frosted with icing to match. They're great straight out of the box, but even better toasted to warm and gooey perfection in a toaster or microwave oven.
Pop-Tarts were first introduced by Kellogg in 1964 and advertised by an animated, anthropomorphic toaster named Milton. The first frosted variety was released shortly after, in 1967.
